A new way to help us; sponsor a tree
The present property of The Good Samaritan is in the municipal region of Alcaracejos and counts on an extension of 8 hectares...

PREVENSHION: From the start “The Good Samaritan” Centre has organized campaigns to sensitize,  local days of prevention, talks and workshops in schools and parent associations, radio programs, visits to the centre, etc. The aim of all this being that the young people and their parents may know how to face up to the problem of drug abuse.

SOCIAL NTERVENTION SOCIAL: When a drug user seeks aid directly through our Headquarters or via one of our offices, a procedure of sensitization and customized assessment begins. The team show him what steps he must take by valuing his problems and personal profile, advising him towards suitable treatment and the best type program based on his situation.

REHABILITATION: Our program is based on: occupational, sport, cultural, social, and spiritual therapy. Furthermore, there is also individual therapy counseling sessions as well as group ones run by a professional physiologist.
All of this is done with the objective of:
- becoming unaccustomed to drug consumption.
- modification of addictive conduct.
- learning new habits.
- recovery of the sense of the responsibility at personal, familiar and social level.
- preparation for the insertion.

RE-INSERTION: The final objective of the whole therapeutic program is that the rehabilitants will be able to regain a normal social life with his family and a job, aspects which are fundamental to secure an integral reintegration. For this we propose and facilitate the labor re-insertion program offered by “La Junta De Andalucía” by means of which they start a job and slowly return to a standardized way of life. For a better development of this phase we have a reintegration flat, although the ideal is that the rehabilitant can return and integrate themselves to their original familiar nucleus from which they came.
